 As suggested by Sikkim Tourism, the best time to visit  Sikkim tourist places is between March or May and October or mid-December. 

If you want to see the natural beauty that blooms in the best weather of Gangtok, it will be in the spring, from March to May.


Method of transport in Sikkim: 


The Sikkim government has fixed rates for buses. Scheme Nationalized Transport (SNT) runs from the bus terminal in Siliguri between Siliguri and Gangtok. 

There are buses from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok. To reach Gangtok, many tourists travel by train and go to New Jalpaiguri, which is 124 km away.


How to reach Sikkim: 


You can fly to Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal and reach Sikkim by air. Although there is no major railway station in the state, you can also take the Siliguri or Jalpaiguri train to reach Sikkim by train.
