Gangtok and Darjeeling are some of the top tourist destinations in India which is on the bucket list of every traveler. I am fascinated by nature and like to spend some days in the midst of natural beauty. Due to family responsibilities, I haven't been able to find much in my last few years, but I've been dreaming of a mountain trip lately.

If you ask me if I am a beach man or a mountain man, I will say that I am a mountain man. There is a view of lush vegetation at the base of the snow-capped mountains that I get tired of seeing. So, I decided to go one step further from my bucket list and go to Gangtok, Sikkim, and Darjeeling with my wife.

Since our destination was last and I had already booked my flight ticket, I was looking for Sikkim Darjeeling Gangtok tour packages, which is 6 days. 1. Tshangu Lake & Nathula Pass

The first stop of our Sikkim-Darjeeling Gangtok holiday packages for local sightseeing was Changu or Tshangu Lake, a few kilometers from Gangtok. Located in the middle of the high mountains, Changu lake or the Tsomgo lake is at an altitude of 12,400 feet.

3. Teesta River

Last but not least, the most amazing and brave part of this journey was the last day of our journey. We went to the river Teesta which flows down the Darjeeling hills. We chose rafting in the flowing waters of the Teesta River and I must say that this was the best experience during the trip to Sikkim Darjeeling Gangtok holiday packages.

The Teesta River is one of the largest rivers in Sikkim. Color is a very important blues that emerges from the Rathong Glacier. During the monsoon, the flow of Teesta is highest due to the supply of molten water through monsoon rains and glaciers.

The 40-minute rafting in the turbulent waters of the Teesta River was thrilling and adventurous. I would say our journey would be incomplete if we lost it. On a good note, we ended this journey with this activity.

Your Temporary Abode For 6 Days:

When we planned to travel to Gangtok, Darjeeling, and Sikkim on a budget, we had to choose domestic routes that were not too heavy for us. The first day we stayed from zero to two where we spent one night and in the morning checked for Tsangu Lake. Our second destination was Samrat Residency which reached our expected level and provided good service with a good breakfast.

Since we were on a budget trip, our next destination was the Wangdi Tsolhamo Homestay. The next day, we went to Lachung where we stayed at Agrawal Guddu Duckling Resort and our last stop was Green Dot Hotel & Restaurant which had clean rooms. They offered a good service and we loved their food. Overall, we enjoyed our stay during our trip to Sikkim Darjeeling Gangtok tour packages because they were comfortable within our budget.

What To Pack For Sikkim Trip:

. Pick up warm jackets, gloves, and thermals, especially if you plan to go to Nathula or Tsomgo.

. Hiking shoes are a must because walking is the best way to see the city.

Our Experience With Tripbibo:

Overall, our experience of the Tripbibo was amazing, despite some problems along the way. The vehicle provided was in good condition and the driver was friendly.
